With2Share is the version of WithShare which allows people outside Penn State membership to use. WithShare is a research project by Center of Human-Computer Interaction at Penn State.
Co-production of social services is producing social service outcomes through collaborations of recipients, social service professionals, and other stakeholders, in which all the stakeholders have power and responsibility to identify and achieve successful outcomes, and in which recipients or clients of services work directly with service providers to produce services.
We are developing the mobile application to support co-productions, in which the provider and recipient jointly enact a service, such as walking the dog together. Co-production has been identified as a key to strengthening the core economy of home, family, neighborhood and community. More specifically, we would like to understand the untapped potential for co-production services; collect requirements for specific technical innovations that would lower the barriers to co-production services; obtain feedback to improve our design; and measure the impact of our mobile application on the behavior of those who have access to it.
